We booked two nights here as our family vacation for the year, planning to explore the area during the day and play in the water park in the evening. We checked in at about 6pm, expecting the water park to be open til 9:00, as indicated by the hotel website. When we got to the pool at 6:45, we were informed it would be closing at 8:00 instead and that the food court was already closed. My son played for about 45 minutes and we had to leave because he was so cold his lips were blue. The room was not very clean (especially needed vacuuming) and smelled like dirty feet. The hallway smelled even worse. When I reserved the room over the phone, I asked about a refrigerator and a crib for our infant. I was told that both were available (for free) on a first-come first-serve basis, as were microwaves. When I checked in, I was told that microwaves weren't permitted due to fire code and refrigerators were an additional $*. We did get a crib. The only positive part of this experience was the cheerful attitude of the waiter at the restaurant.

Checked in on a Friday night for a dance convention with my young daughter. Our first room was so filthy that she just stood in the middle of the room not wanting to touch anything. The carpet had fresh stains, the duvet cover was filthy! The desk clerk moved us to an extremely nice club level room which was much cleaner, but still in need of new carpet and fresh paint. The front desk was understaffed and I only saw one bellboy for the four days that I was there. He was kind and courteous despite how busy the hotel was. The main lobby staircase going to the meeting rooms was indescribable! It looked as though it hadn't been vacuumed in years. This hotel needs some major refurbishing!

The hotel was nice and clean BUT they will try to get you to pay for everything! This is supposed to be geared for family fun but the room has no refrigerator and the TV has no jacks for video games. They expect you to use the single game controller pay by the hour after spending (as one guest told me) as much as $270.00 per night with a 4:00 PM check in.There are also two lovely 32oz. bottles of Ice Mountain water on the writing desk with a price tag of $3.50 each that theywill be happy to add to your bill if you aren't carefull. We arriver early to let the kids get as much play time as possible and allerted the desk that we were ready to check in ASAP. we attempted check in at 3:45 our room was not available until until 5:45. It was only worth it with the price we got from online travel agency. If that is not available, stay home and turn on the hose!!!!

The room I had was clean and well maintained. However, you could not turn the thermostat down below 75. I decided to open the window since it was already late at night. My lovely view was of the dumpsters and the hotel staff's smoking area in an out of the way alcove. Mind you I was on the second floor. Would not have been so bad if all the AC units weren't right there grinding away as I wasn't staying there for the view. All the ""heat"" issues aside, the next morning someone starts slamming weights right against the headboard at 6 AM as i was right next to the weight room.... Had to be the worst room in the hotel. Other than my room the hotel looked good but I would think this had to be the worst room in the place. Was I ""lucky"" enough to get the last room available or did I get it because I booked with a online travel website???

I love staying at this hotel. My kids and I love the CoCo Key Water Resort. We have so much fun! We checked in on a Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and were able to get into a room right away even though the check-in time is 4:00 p.m. The Front Desk agent was very friendly. We went to our room and immediately went to the Water Resort. The staff at the Water Resort Front Desk were very helpful. We ate in Pizza Hut Express and the food was very good. After playing in the Water Resort we settled in our room. We needed more pillows and called the Front Desk. They answered on the first ring and brought up our pillows right away. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The next morning we were hungry so we ate in the Tradewinds restaurant. The breakfast food was delicious and the server was so nice. My entire family loved this hotel and we definately will return.
