  Overall, hotel was clean and staff were friendly, but the hotel itself could really use a facelift. Looked like some water damage beginning on ceiling of our room. Hotel was quiet at night which was a real plus. However, one BIG minus was the lack of communication with the travel website system and the hotel's billing system. Had I not made an issue about the fact I had already paid online and proved it with my printed out out confirmation, I firmly believe I would have been charged twice for the same room for the same night. The check-in clerk claimed that they had been having computer problems, but I still was not comfortable with the explanation, so much so that I checked the charges on my C.C. to be sure once I got home. The billing/computer issue cost them 1 smiley and the overall condition of the hotel cost them 1 more.

  I have stayed with the Quality chains before, I believe this one must have been one of the first ones to have been built. The hotel was damp and musty, the rooms were deteriorating, plaster falling and wall paper peeling. There were stains on sheets in one of the beds. The cigarette smoke odors would strangle you. You could here every conversation in the adjoining rooms. The curtains don't provide you with much privacy, as anyone can walk by and peer into your window.. Just not the QUALITY that I have expected from the Quality chain.

  the hallway carpets have rips/ our room had large cobwebs hanging from the curtain/ the sink was about to back up/ and you could hear everything that happened in the room above , including the bath facilities/ need I say more
