I stayed here over 1 weekend and was very pleased with the overall quality of the hotel. The front desk was friendly. The suite was clean and accessorized with everything you would need for your accommodation, clean towels, soap, coffee, cups, utensils, ice in the fridge, stove, microwave, etc. I saw that the hotel had laundry room and work out room with equipment. It doesn't have complementary breakfast, but personally that didn't matter to me. It provides free coffee though, good enough to help you start the morning if you're a coffee drink like I am. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The hotel was very quiet as well. The atmosphere of the surroundings was tranquil. I think the price was just right, with everything available within the suite, including free internet access. The most important to me was that it was nice and CLEAN. The room was clean and cozy. It was a nice pleasure staying at Candlewood. I had no complaints. I would book with this brand again or return to the same hotel if I visited Morris Plains again. Overall experience: 9.5/10

The shower had pink mold growing out of it and the entire room was covered in dog fur-do I need to elaborate? The exterior photo is very deceiving, the hotel is in bad shape and it's behind an abandoned building, perfect for a haunted house!
