Hotel Website Very Misleading

BEWARE!!! Website boasts BRAND NEW, this is so not the case. They may have new paint, but that's about it! Our room was a non-smoking room, but smelled aweful of stale smoke and air freshener. The furniture was old and one leg on the dresser/ tv stand unit was broken. The lighting on one side of the room wouldn't even turn on. The mattresses were so old that it would have been more comfortable to sleep on an old sofa bed. I don't know if the springs or lumps were worse. The complimentary breakfast that according to a brochure from the hotel in our room was from 6-10. When we went down at 9:15 we were informed it was over at 9. I said the book said 10 and was told ""oh well"". I then asked for a platic spoon to eat a yogurt that we brought and was told no. When I checked out and was asked how my stay was I gave my list of complaints. I was promptly told I could leave as there were others waiting to check in and they didn't want them to hear me. I then asked for a receipt and was told that since I booked online that was the only one I needed. When I was packing, the car next to me was loading up as well and the woman asked if our room was nice. I told her no and of my complaints. She had many of the same ones and informed me that she found 4 dark brownish black bugs in their bed. I am glad I didn't have that experience. I know the Days is not the top of line, but I have stayed at many that were clean and odor free. BEWARE!!!!!!
