  This is probably the cheapest place to stay in the area, especially if you will be staying for a couple weeks as they have very good price brakes for extended visits. If cost is your primary concern on your trip, stay here. There is a simple kitchenette so you can save on meals too. The low cost comes at a price though: Exterior entrances, so you pretty much are going to have the windows closed all the time unless you like everyone looking in as they walk by. The internet connection is OK for sending emails, but if you like to use a web cam to keep in touch with the family at home while traveling it really won't cut it. (I visited twice in the last couple weeks so I have the advantage here of multiple rooms to compare.) The rooms could really go for a serious cleaning. Dirt from the carpet tracks all over the tile in the kitchen and bath. One room's bath mat had black mold on the bottom of it. A very spartan selection of TV channels. There is no exercise facility and contrary to their web site they do not have any agreement with a local gym. On the kitchen side, bring your own soap and paper towels. Those sorts of items are included in most Marriott suites that have a kitchenette but you won't find that at Homestead. Also, one room I stayed in had a dishwasher and the other one didn't so you will find some variety in what you end up getting for the $. This really wouldn't be a bad hotel, if they simply power washed the outside walkways , steam cleaned the carpets, upgraded the bedding a bit, and increased the internet speed; but it is the cheapest option.

  I would not let my enemy stay there. it has the most dirty rooms with linens not even washed. customer service is very bad. the front desk talks to you ...

  I would not let my enemy stay there. It has the most dirty rooms with linens not even washed. Customer service is very bad. The front desk talks to you as if you are on Social Security (most of them stay there I heard). They even ration the bathroom tissues
