Stayed in 7 diffent hotels on this trip and Phoenix Inn was the best. Cookies at checkin, A/C in room already cooled, very large room. Clean and comfortable. Great value. Full attended buffet breakfast with something for everyone - sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles, cold cereal, fruit, juice selection, bagles, etc, etc, etc. Indoor pool and jacuzzi with adjacent exercise room. Could not have been happier with our stay.

Just off the Interstate - an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Portland. Next door to a church. Food just up the street (not walking distance but a quick drive) - restaurants, fast food, grocery store. Shopping center just a little further - Old Navy, Best Buy, etc. The hotel staff was great. I had a little mixup with my reservation and they were very helpful. We stayed in the spa suite a couple nights - just like a regular hotel room but with a jacuzzi instead of a couch. :) Good for 2 small people or one large one! Also stayed in an executive suite - the bed is in a separate part of the room but it's all open - no door. Had a desk in a separate area too from the sitting area with two couches (nicer TV as well). I paid the ""Cars Eat Free"" rate and got a $25 Chevron gas card for each night but not til I checked out - would have been nice to have these sooner since we don't have Chevron back at home. Would love to stay here again!
