I came to Kingston to attend the funeral of my Aunt Gladys on 8/8/09. The Courtleigh is a wonderful air-conditioned hotel with a very pleasing and helpful staff. I stayed Aug. 7-Aug.9, 2009 in a deluxe room on the ninth floor with a very nice view overlooking the mountains. The room was colonial style with crown moldings and poster mahogony bed, nicely decorated with 300 count soft sheets and firm bed. I slept very well. The bathroom had large marble tiles in shower, floor and marble sink all with moen fixtures. Bath and Body Works Coconut lime verbena soap, lotion, shower gel ,shampoo etc. are used... very nice fragrance. The towels are thick absorbent cotton. The rooms are very clean. This is a charming, quaint hotel unlike the large comercial hotels like the Hilton across the street. There is no charge for wireless internet access in your room. The hotel lobby is very nice. Included in the room price is buffet breakfast with scrambeld eggs, bacon, fresh juices and tropical fruits. I ate breakfast by the pool and had a chance to take a dip in afterwards and got some of that wonderful Jamaican sunshine. You need your hotel key card to operate the elevator to your floor, for security. Plus you have an in-room safe. This hotel is a must for anyone staying in Kingston! I will stay here upon my return to Kingston.

The Courtleigh Hotel and Suites was great. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was very quiet and relaxing in the room. I slept well in the bed and my room was cleaned each day. Breakfast was provided each morning and people were friendly. A friend of mine drove me to Ochos Rios which is only an hour away. So, I was able to enjoy Dun Rivers Falls, beach, jet skis, and swimming with the Dolphins at Dolphin Cove. I did not get a chance to swim in the pool or dine at the Hotel but it was a nice view and decorated lovely. I saw others eating and swimming and enjoying themselves. I would stay defintely stay again.

This was my families 1st time in Jamaica--My daughter is a huge fan of Bob Marley, so we decided to make this our families 2008 summer vacation. The hotel was awesome---The room was very large and extremely clean. The free hot buffet breakfast was very good! The pool was nice and the staff very helpful. We never saw a fitness center---and did not find the gift shop unti the end of our stay ( the gift show is very, very tiny--I think it's someones office with a few items for sell) I wish the staff would let you know the lay out of the hotel. The Bell hops were the best---Very informative, and you must use the Juta taxi serivces. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as well as, stay there again on my next stay.
