  Big Sur Lodge was fantastic. The rooms were a good size, and the patio and pool were enjoyable. The restaurant was another matter. The food was good, but the service was not. One server didn't show up for 2 days and the manager didn't even come by to apologize for the slow service (one morning it took 25 minutes before we were even offered coffee, let alone had our order taken.)
