05/26/2009I stayed here memorial day weekend. upgraded to the ""executive floor"" because of the amenities offered. free ""executive lounge"" with morning breakfast and evening nibbles. they forgot to mention that ...
I stayed here Memorial Day weekend. Upgraded to the ""Executive Floor"" because of the amenities offered. Free ""executive lounge"" with morning breakfast and evening nibbles. They forgot to mention that they gave the housekeeping staff the weekend OFF! No housekeeping. No ""Executive Lounge."" How do you give the staff off when you are in the hospitality business?? Attempts to rectify the situation were lame. Free in room movie. Free snack in the hotel restaurant. Couldn't give me money deducted from my rate because I booked through online travel website. I chose, what I thought, was a more upscale place to say. Sadly, I was wrong.

05/09/2008It took awhile, but this hotel finished off their renovations, so now the rooms are a nice and complete package - hooray! through it all the staff has been wonderful - really ...
It took awhile, but this hotel finished off their renovations, so now the rooms are a nice and complete package - hooray! Through it all the staff has been wonderful - really nice kids at the desk.

Not up to expectations
03/08/2008Disappointed that this was a doubletree chain. hotel needs major overhaul. the carpets and flooring need replacing. rooms quite musty and need deep cleaning not just the daily routine cleaning. ...
Disappointed that this was a Doubletree Chain. Hotel needs major overhaul. The carpets and flooring need replacing. Rooms quite musty and need deep cleaning not just the daily routine cleaning. Toilet overflowed and flooded bathroom and some of the main entrance to the room. Hotel staff was cooperative however and gave another room.

This hotel needs some major renovations. Not up to the Doubletree standards. The room we had smelled musty and carpets worn. Only good comment I have is the pool area was great and breakfast buffet had a good selection.
