Very disappointed. Hotel was dated and worn down looking. Although I had a non-smoking room, the room and most of the hotel for that matter smelled of cigarette smoke. Had to pay extra to use the exercise equipment. Very few shops on property and nothing around the property within walking distance. Shuttle to other Trump hotels which are near the boardwalk was only available to guests with some type of rewards card. Food in the buffet was OK at best. Altogether, I would not recommend this hotel.

Checking in was easy, the women at the front desk was very friendly. Staff at the One Card desk was very nice as well. The room we had on the 27th floor had a great view, but did not like that there was no remote to turn off tv..had to get up to change volume as well. Cigarette burn in our blankets even though we were in a non smoking room. Thermostat was incorrect, felt very cold in the room and set it to 80 but it never got above what said 72(felt much cooler). Staff at the casino seemed like they didnt even want to be there. atmosphere was depressing. Spent the weekend gambling at Borgata where the staff was friendly and outgoing and very personable. Would have been nice to actually want to be in the hotel that we paid for. Going for the cheaper room is not always the best idea. Especially since we had to pay for cab rides back and forth to the other hotels Spending a little extra for somewhere else would probably be worth it if you want to get the most out of the hotel you are staying in.

For the money, the Trump Plaza is a good experience. An older facility, it is clean and staff is friendly. Mostly an older clientele. Room was updated, food acceptable. Comp coupons for food and parking($* per day) made the actual room cost about $*. A good deal.

Stayed on the 24th floor - The rooms were furnished fine and fairly clean, but they were noisy. The casino left something to be desired - rather small and not very exciting. It was very, very smokey even though there were "non-smoking areas" the air quality was bad.
