We reserved our rooms in advance and requested late checkout because we would be attending an event on Sunday morning. I called two days before arrival to confirm that late checkout would be available to us, and was assured that as long as we checked out by 2 p.m., it would not be a problem. When I checked in, I again confirmed that Sunday 2 p.m. was our checkout time. On Sunday around 12 p.m. , when we returned early from our event to begin packing, we received a telephone call from the front desk demanding that we check out already and that under no circumstances could we stay past 1:00 p.m. because someone was moving in. We pointed out the arrangement and were told that it didn't matter, a block of people needed to check in. As we were scrambling to pack and get ready to leave, we were interupted by numerous knocks from housekeeping trying to come in to clean the room for the new arrivals. When we finally checked out at 12:40 after significant difficulty, the front desk manager apologized weakly and, rather than taking accountability for the hotel's mistake, repeatedly asked for the names of the people who told us we could have late checkout, as if it were those staff members' problems and not an error of the hotel's system. We did not remember any names, and she said then there was little she could do to correct it in the future. This put an incredibly sour end to what was otherwise a satisfying and adequate hotel stay. This is not the service I expect from a Hyatt. I have since checked the website and ""2 p.m. checkout on request"" is listed as one of the AMENITIES!!! This was very disappointing.

I stayed here to visit my husband while he was working and brought the kids...we loved the hotel. It was nice and clean, we had everything we needed, plenty of space....a fold out couch for the kids...a big comfy bed for us...a big closet to hide away all our stuff...it was quite in the halls even though very busy and the little food ""pantry"" in the lobby was stocked full of things we liked...it was pricey, but very convenient and useful. The breakfast was really good, too. This place has much cheaper rates on the weekends than on the weekdays as it usually gears toward the business travelers...I recommend it fully...OH! and 2 tv's...one for cartoons, one for us!

Aside from being brand spanking new... this place had everthing I have always wanted hotels to have, and have I been in many many. Right down the street from Honeywell. I had a deck for cooking steaks...I don't have this at home. The rooms were excellent, separate sleeping area, separate cooking area and living/working area. Have works guests over without feeling weird about the bed sitting right there...door closes. Everything was new fresh...on so many different levels.
These People are Smart.
