When you literally want to "get away from it all," The Boulders is the place to do it. While far enough away from Scottsdale and Phoenix to make you feel as though you are away from the bright lights of the big city, you will still find great dining and shopping options, plus a feeling of privacy that you just can't find in a "big box" hotel or resort. The geography of surrounding area is nothing short of stunning. The value was incedible, even for the season (July).

We stayed for a week at the Boulders on a ""Winter Getaway"" package through online travel website. The entire thing was fabulous: wonderful service, gorgeous locale, well-cared-for property, great and healthy food, relaxing facilities, access to some of the best spa facilities as part of the package, lots of choices of activities. We will definitely return, and will encourage others to stay there as well. Nearby is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've ever gone to: the Spotted Donkey. Everything was perfect at the Boulders.

My first trip to Phoenix definitely left me wanting to come back for more! The Boulders staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. While I wasn't completely impressed with the room...the bed was not very comfortable and the tv was smaller than I expected...it still had wonderful qualities. We sat on the patio every morning to enjoy our coffee and lit a fire in the fireplace every evening. The room service was a nice treat and let us feel comfortable with never leaving the room. All in all, I would be happy to return...in fact, I'm planning on it!

I enjoyed the experience the Boulders provides. Checking in to late to enjoy a round of golf I did opt for treatments at the spa. A truly rejuventating experience as advertised. The staff is truly attentive. The room was a Casita or Bungalow in Spanish architecture. It was warm when the fireplace was lit, charming to include it's own patio; but check the door my was not locked. The bar was hard to unlock, but beautifully stocked a simple room service was apprectiated after such an evening of tranquility. Overall a wonderful stay while traveling on business.
