In the new room my son tried to set the deadbolt and pulled the door frame loose. The fitness room was trashed. This was not surprising, however, because there was no available space in any trash can on the property. The inn provided a complimentary breakfast buffet, howver, the used chewing gum stuck on top of the chair at the table next to us served as a potent appetite suppressant. The beds kept sliding on the bedframes leaving exposed metal edges. The beds were comfortable, however, and the air conditioner worked well. My family was able to get a good night's sleep which was really why we rented the motel room. I, therefore, consider my stay disappointing rather than abysmal. Suffice to say that ""jameson"" became a verb for the rest of this vacation applied to any restaurant or attraction that we don't intend to visit again.

My first time to stay in a Jameson Inn and it will be my last. It was my first time in Tupelo and I booked the hotel based on a couple of the travel website customer reviews. Staff was friendly but quality was poor. We arrived late the night before and wanted to sleep in late. The next morning room service knocked on my door at 8AM asking if they could clean the room. The toilet seat was loose. The alarm clock went off randomly throughout the night. After the third time I unplugged it. I am an experienced traveler and am not hard to please. I will never stay at another Jameson if it is my choice.
