    The Jameson was clean and pleasant for the price. There were some minor detractors. The hotel was really far from anything (just short of an hour from Birmingham and an hour from Montgomery) and Sylacauga doesn't have much to offer. The wireless was slow and the breakfast was extremely basic. And key key card system really needs to be updated. But during an evacuation, it's nice to just feel comfortable and not worry about spending a whole lot of money. I something important and expensive in the hotel room and the front desk manager mailed it directly to my home address, so excellent service for the price as well. And the drive was beautiful.

    I have been staying at several Jameson Inns recently for business puposes throughout the Southeast. I called their 1-800 number and asked the rep about their hotels that would be along my travel route. I chose to stay at the Sylacauga Jameson Inn this time and I found it to be very convenient. This Inn is close to shopping and is right off the main highway.

    Door keys wouldn't work. mgr well aware of this problem. other guests having same problem. general staff attitude - lousy. rooms small, cramped and over-priced.

    Our key wouldn't work in the door, I went to the front desk no fewer than 15 times in two days. I'm a realtor I deal with keys all the time, they kept telling me I was doing something wrong. It was a bad experience, room was clean however.
