We found this to be a great value - good location and recently remodeled. Our dogs were welcomed which made our traveling much easier. The only negative we found was the breakfast choices were minimal but there is a Waffle House or Cracker Barrel close by so it wasn't really an issue. This hotel offers great amenities for the price so we felt it was a fair trade off. We have had good experience with the Jameson Inns overall and definiteley recommend this location. Also if you are looking for a more upscale dining experience while in Vicksburg we had a great meal at the Cedar Grove Inn.

Went to Vicksburg on a weekend getaway. This hotel had a great price and was right in the middle of town. Close to restaurants and shopping, as well as other attractions. it was nice, well lit, and clean. The only negative is that the alarm clock in the room next to us started blaring about 6am. The lady at the front desk said there was nothing she could do because housekeeping wasn't there yet. however, a few minutes later she was able to make it up there to turn it off. Other than that, the staff was nice and friendly. The one other negative is that the lobby closes and if you arrive late you have to stand outside and check-in through a small window. We arrived at 10:00 and the lobby was already closed. But it wasn't that big of a deal. I would definitely stay here again.

The stay at the Jameson was great. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great, and the location was great. I plan to spend each trip at the Jameson. They really did a good job and everything was comfortable. We attended our family reunion in Vicksburg and had a wonderful time. I would recommend this Inn to anyone who needs a comfortable, reasonable priced place to stay. Great job Jameson!!!!!
