We just arrived here in Hickory for a two night stay. Our son plays for the Hickory Crawdads Baseball team. So far the stay looks to be a good one. Room were like and clean had a bottom floor room which was nice for us. One key per room. Rooms had everyting in them you get in big hotels for much better price. Location was a little out way but lots of eating places close by. I would stay here again. Nice and quiet more of a county feel. Very peaceful.

I have not previously stayed at a Jameson Inn but I was very pleased with this experience. The room was very well appointed with a great bed and the people were friendly and helpful. I was especially surprised by the breakfast. Overall a very good experience.

Don't go during a holiday! Fill-in staff was rude at checkin - I was the customer & booked 3 rooms & they argued with me that they gave my room away. No towels in one of 3 rooms, minimal in other 2. No working bathroom overhead lights there either. No beds made until 3rd day of stay. Staff called 1st day to ask if we could give them dirty towels to launder as they didn't have enough in full hotel, but didn't refill towels they took. Told me to come back later for towels and argued when I did. 3 pillows for 4 people. Room keys expired every 12 hours for 4 days. Breakfast buffet not checked to regularly to refill and people checking out kept her from refilling.

This motel was actually better than we anticipated. Upon arrival, the clerk changed our room to better suit our request. Once arriving in the room, very nice, clean and efficient. At this price, I was actually surprised to see a coffe pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and several other items. The room was a bit small, but well worth the money spent. If you're traveling on I-40 and need to stop for the night, I HIGHLY recommend the Jameson Inn in Hickory, NC.

Terrible ordeal with a hotel that is supposed to be pet friendly. My two service dogs got very ill. Hotel was dirty, no maid service and staff was rude, rude, rude. Tried to charge for service dogs which is against the law. Had to pay over $* in vet bills to save the life of one of the dogs. This hotel did not care.
