The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the fresh baked cookies. Downtown shopping is just a walk away. The only bad things I can say is that the "breakfast" area is very crowded if there is a lot of people (20+) trying to get a cup of coffee you bump elbows quite a bit. We stayed on the 2nd floor which had a table and chairs set up near the stairwell that worked quite wonderful to get away from the crowd in the breakfast area. The wireless internet wasn't working, however there is a port in the room for a high speed connection. The pool and sauna was wonderful to wind down the kids. Highly recommended for a downtown shopping get-a-way.

The hotel was an older hotel, and there are newer ones available. But I must admit the beds were heavenly and the staff were very helpful. We had no problems getting in or out. Our stay was 5 days and we couldn't have asked for better accomdations. The pool was indoor and unfortunately we all forgot our suits. We were located right at midtown which is the shopping area in Ruidoso. There were shops and restraurants within walking distance. The breakfast bar was ok, nothing to write home about, but for on the go, it was fine.
Would definitly stay there again. Very pleased with the whole travel agency experience. They booked our flights, hotel, and rental car. Great job and great customer service on the phone also.
