Wonderful resort location. Beautiful beaches. Having so many quality restaurants to chose from (with different cuisines) made it difficult to decide where to eat dinner each night. Wait staff was very friendly even if they weren't totally fluent with English--we never had a problem being understood. A magical place that we will return to more than once. Rooms were very clean. The grounds were immaculate. Don't expect U.S. centric foods-- think European and Latin. Overall, we liked it because very few Americans go there. It is mostly European--60% Italians, 20% Spaniards, a few Germans and British-- and maybe 5% Americans. It was like being in Europe--without all the travel hassles. Only 2 hours from Miami. It is like another world, a beautiful calm serene place.

Let me start with the check in the front desk, during my stay it was under staff no enough people to help guests. No reservations available to the restautants, some of the staff member were a little rude. The beds are very hard. Bottom line is this resort shouldn't bed rated as a three stars it should be more like one an a half star.

They are rules in the Hotel management that can be changed to accommodate the hours of the guests instead of the needs of the Hotel. The swimming pool close at 6:00 pm. Changing the beach towels is from 3 to 6 pm only. The cleaning of the room need more supervision.
