It's a magical place, the resort takes up a huge acreage, so you feel like you are away from the city and all the busy chaos. The room, we rented a two bedroom suit, was beautiful - the decor, the comfort, simply excellent. Service, however, or the lack of it was the only negative thing. There are many vacation rentals and hotel options on the actual resort since it's so large, so I don't know about all of them, but the one we stayed at was Deerhaven. There was no one to help us with anything because the operator who answered the phone was a employee and he wasn't responsible for helping the guests. Normally it would be ok, but cell service there was non-existent, at least AT&T and Verizon don't work, so we were sort of on your own. We paid $ a night, which is sort of high, and they require to wash your sheets, towels and clean your dishes before you leave, a bit of a stretch for the money. Overall, it was an awesome getaway in a beautiful place. And NICE beds!

You don?t get what you pay for. This resort has lost its luster. Unfriendly service front desk, restaurant manager. First sent to wrong room. Average room with dirty patio, small TV. Salmon undercooked in dining room..twice! Manager didn?t handle to satisfaction. Grounds not kept well. No cell phone service. Don't stay here if temp above 75 or rooms will be very hot. No AC. Other guests complained of ant problems, water pressure problems, unclean rooms. A huge disappointment. On checkout, they didn?t ask us if we enjoyed our stay!

We spent Saturday night at Rosario, and paid for a Bayside room. The view was quite stunning - we were looking straight onto the bay, and had fantastic views of the water and other islands. the room was very overpriced for what it was.I've never been to a resort, but this did not seem too much different than a normal hotel: it had a restaurant and a gym. There is a 'therapeutic exercise pool' - I recommend it. The ""lounge"" food was limited but okay. There's also a restaurant in the mansion's dining room, but you need reservations.

The service at this hotel was excellent, especially the wait-staff of young men and women. But the actual lodging was no better than a routine motor inn, and the breakfast (though expensive) was only mediocre.
