We stayed for two days. The pros include that the room was large, the beds with the extra pillows were comfortable, the tv was a large flatscreen, the air conditioner was powerful, and the toiletries provided had a nice fragrance. Other than the room, the lobby was pretty with dark woods and the golf-course was well-maintained. Flowers through out the grounds were pretty. The parking was free. The cons include that although we booked for an oceanview room, we were provided instead with a room overlooking a construction zone where it looked like they were trying to expand the golfing area- this looked awful from the room balcony which we were unable to enjoy.

This was a very nice resort for golfers and business meeting types. The lobby was beautiful. The rooms were nice but not worth the money. The bathrooms were beautifully appointed with marble and were very big. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. The rest of the room was rather standard (for a deluxe suite) and a few things needed attention. Some of the furniture was nicked up, and a few spots needed painting. The view outside was beautiful as it faced the harbor. But the grounds (other than the green and tees) needed watering (and weeding here and there) and the parking lot paving was dirty from construction vehicles nearby working on a new pool area. Again a few details could use some painting on the exteriors. The hallways were very nice with elegant carpeting and sitting areas with rockers looking towards the view. However for the money, the hallways were open to the air (making them hot and humid in the day), and the windows were trimmed in rough, cheap moldings - strange. We'd rate this as an incongruous stay. Very nice with some great creature comforts and staff, but a few things in the details ruined the overall effect.

After enjoying the crowds at Lobster Fest, it was heavenly to go back to this clean, elegant resort. Sinking down into the down comforter was the highlight of our evening. Watching the sunrise at 5:15 from our bed off of our balcony was the highlight of our morning. Waking up every morning to the USS Nassau parked in "our" bay was delightful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Not one crabby employee! Lobster was a little overpriced, since we could get 2 one pound lobsters at Lobster Fest for $*. The food was good, but resort priced. It was centrally located to travel up and down the coast. We don't golf, but the greens were beautiful and many golfers were enjoying them. Walking the mile long breakwater to the lighthouse was an experience. Take good shoes. Room service was fast and professional. I felt the staff knew our needs and wants and watched out for us. Three's a great outdoor cafe to have lunch or dinner and a drink or two watching the ocean and the breakwater.
There's a fine concierge desk for all guests. Those ladies were busy helping us all.
There are 2 computers for guests to use if you don't bring your laptop. I want to go back soon. Spoil yourself. Make reservations for this fine resort.
