We stayed two nights (9/11 thru 12/09). We called at the last minute for a room, and the receptionist rearranged their bookings so we could have the same room both nights and actually called me back to confirm it. That was the beginning of a wonderful stay. Everyone there was anxious to please and gave us the impression of a family, tho they weren't. It is a beautiful hotel, perhaps a bit dated, but lacking for nothing. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, as was our room. We enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant and everything was well-prepared. My husband's steak was among the best he's had anywhere, and that is saying a lot! The bar was busy and very lively. Not least, the price for both room and meals was excellent. So much better than the cookie-cutter chains, Bay Valley is a great value and happy memory.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days. Everyone was very friendly and extermly helpful. Food was great with excellent portions. Bar and entertainment was alot of fun. The room was fine, but was needed some update. New and bigger TV's would be great, and the fitness center is under construction. Also the indoor and outdoor Pool and hot tub ended the days just right. the patio seating looked right over the golf course. with an amazing sight. I will for sure stay here again!

this hotel was by far the worst hotel i've ever stayed in. first off, we had issues with checking in. then there was issues with the restaurant, the service was horrible. took 25 minutes to get a menu and another 45 minutes to get more drinks. another half an hour before they waitress came back and said that we needed to change something on our order because the cooks weren't going to make that after 9pm...we got there well before that. the drinks were skimpy and half of the orders were wrong. we had to pull a manager and they comped a few of our meals but it was utterly ridiculous. they had karaoke both nights we were there but the hotel wouldn't pay the karaoke guy to stay....one of the girls in our group paid the guy 50 extra bucks to stay for another hour so we could stay and drink....why wouldn't the hotel, that's supposedly making all this money, not pay the 50 dollars so they could make a lot of money through the drinking that we and about 10 other people in the bar were doing? summing things up: the rooms smell funny, they're too small. the beds suck, terribly uncomfortable. barely slept all weekend. the fitness room was ""closed for renovations"", the complimentary continental breakfast was the BARE minimum...a few danish, TINY muffins and english muffins..... the tv is horrendous, the only channels that come through clear are stuff you never wanna watch. the only cool thing about the whole hotel was the fact that the pool was divided and heated. half was indoor and half was outoor. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautifully designed hotel (aside from the confusing elevator). Went to breakfast on the weekend which offered a buffet. I don't eat much in the morning and the hostess was very accomodating. We got room service the night before and the food was excellent and very affordable.

Price was great. Room was a little smallish but ok. Door to room had NO sliding bolt or extra lock like ALL other hotels I have ever stayed. From the outside of the room looking in, I could see light from the room between the framing of the door. Room was nice enough in decor even though they had obviously painted over wall paper, some of which was peeling. Front desk attendants were personable. Pool was nice. We only stayed one night, but if it had been more, I know I would not have felt my belongings were safe. Door and locks seemed flimsy.
