Love, love, love this hotel. Rooms are clean, the breakfast is great and we could walk to our choice of places to eat. Very convenient. The kids loved the outdoor heated pool. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room is bigger than it was last time we were here so it will be our place of choice for our family reunion in the fall.

The Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Payne has upgraded to better than ever! I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past few years, and will NEVER stay anywhere else. As usual, the staff was outstanding and very personal. The entire hotel has been rejuvenated with new paint, paper and bedding....and the new bathrooms are exquisite. The thing that impressed me most was the breakfast bar, not just fruit and cold cereal... eggs, sausage and those famous cinnamon rolls! If you want to stay in a home away from home, this is most definitely the place.

check in was quick & easy, front desk staff courteous. Nice outdoor pool. A/C in room not the best; no thermostat, just hi/low, cooler/warmer. The a/c leaked and the carpet was soaked, so the room smelled musty. Breakfast was the usual, but the room is very small with only a few tables. Will probally stay here again. Ruby Tuesday & Cracker Barrel next door, so that's good.
