We have been staying in Meridian because our son plays baseball for MCC. I have stayed at some of the pricer hotels, but since it was getting expensive, chose this Inn. I was apprehensive at first because of some of theprevious reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised when I stayed here. The front desk clerk was very nice. She was very accomodating. THe breakfast was wonderful. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, much better that some of the pricer hotels. I felt safe. It was close to everything. We even walked to Bonita Lakes. For great value, clean, and convenient location, this is the place to stay.

We booked two adjoining rooms for the night. When we checked in, the desk clerk was busy on a personal call to her friend. I was given room cards and the number written on the cards, no greeting, no explanation about breakfast, nothing. When we got to the rooms, one was not cleaned, so we had to return to the front desk and ask for another room. The clerk didn't seem to care, saying ""I just got here tonight, so I don't know what happened."" No apologies, nothing

10/16/2006Our first room was dirty, smelled of urine, had holes in the carpet and the door had an inch gap at the bottom. the next room was not much better. ...
Our first room was dirty, smelled of urine, had holes in the carpet and the door had an inch gap at the bottom. The next room was not much better. Finally, the third room was clean and in better shape. One man left because there was a rat trap in his room with a dead lizard in it. We only stayed because we had been on our motorcycle for 8 hours and we were really tired.
