The room smelled like an ashtray and there were ashtrays and matches in the room even though the site description said ALL rooms were non-smoking, This room was definately still a smoking room. It was awful, and disgusting. The bathroom tub and sink were covered with soap film and it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. I can see why this hotel was the only one in the area that still had rooms available when all others were booked. I had two reservations...one was cancelled the day before arrival, but I was charged for it anyhow and this hotel refused to give a refund. When I come back next year...you can bet I won't be staying here again.

My friends and myself ended up at this Comfort Inn because all the hotels in the city of our conference were full. When we arrived at 4:45 the room was not ready. Because we were in a hurry to get settled in and out to dinner before the conference we didn't notice until the our return around midnight that the room had not been vaccuumed. There was food and medicines on the floor, there was a 2 inch bug crawling up the wall, dirty towels and a used bar of soap left in the bathroom. Travelocities website states that all the rooms are now non-smoking. Our room smelled as if the people before us were chain smokers. Upon my return home I had to wash my pajamas before wearing them again because the smoke smell was so strong. The room rates are posted on the back of the door. When we asked why our rate was so high, the clerk said it was due to the "special event". The regular rate was DOUBLED! I won't stay at this Comfort Inn again.
