We arrived late (3am) and the front desk was very kind. There were 3 families together and the reservations weren't exactly correct. One of us had a smoking room (yuck) and the other two had to move rooms in the middle of the trip due to the fact that their Prime Minister (""President"") was coming into town and they needed 2 floors free for him. It was a pain having to repack (we stayed 7 days) and unpack. They were very sorry for the inconvienence and the bell staff moved our stuff while we were out. A big inconvienence but everything else was 100%. Great staff throughout, rooms large, largest bathroom I've ever had in a hotel (even had a telephone in it :) ). Only a block from downtown, George Street, the harbor etc. We had a great view of the harbor. I will 100% stay at this hotel the next time we visit Newfoundland.
