We went downstairs to use the indoor pool and hot tub about 8:30. They close at 10 and the hot tub was turned off so we asked the woman behind the desk to turn it on. She said she wouldn't turn it on because it would take a half hour to heat up(which would leave only an hour for us to enjoy the hot tub. We had to argue with her to let us use it!!!! I thought that's what we paid for?!?! The toilet in the bathroom was loose and shifted when you sat on it. There were marks all over the walls in the room. Having said all that, the bed itself was clean and soft. I slept very well and the hot breakfast the next morning was very good.

We stayed here because the previous reviewer said the beds were comfy--they really were. However, the place is a nightmare to get to due to construction--you have to go miles out of your way to get there, and if you miss the single turn going south, it adds about 15 miles to your trip. The room smelled -- well, I can only describe it as "old lettuce" -- funky. The toilet was loosely attached and there was something nasty around the tile around it--although the rest of the room was clean. The worst thing was the staff--generally outside smoking or sitting with feet up. When I went in with my daughter and granddaughter to change for a soccer match--the clerk was horribly rude, asking me if I was a guest and even asking my room number; really, could he not have looked on the security camera right by his side and seen that I was using my room card? There are many places north of there on I 35 to stay--I will do so next time!
