    It was a wonderful place for us to stay this summer. staff was great and attentive. rooms were average but nice - not worn.

  • They did not clean my room for two days!

    The hotel itself was not bad but they failed to clean my room for two days. they did not give us towels. they had several signs up about conservation but ...

    The hotel itself was not bad but they failed to clean my room for two days. They did not give us towels. They had several signs up about conservation but the truth is that they did not want to have to clean the room or do any real work. The attitude of the night person on duty was that it was my fault that they did not clean the room. She said that we had to have the room cleaned between 9am and 12 noon because that is when the maid was available. The manager did apologize for the lack of cleaning and refunded my room for the two days that they did not clean. Online Travel Website stepped in and handled everything for me. They offered to make me a new reservation at another hotel but we decided to stay with family at this point. It might not have been such a bad deal if it was not the week of Christmas. I won't stay there again definitely!

    My fiance and I took a trip down to Charleston for the weekend and stayed at this hotel, due to its price and the reviews we read. The name of the hotel is misleading, it's not actually on Isle of Palms. The location is still good, though. Right near a major shopping area with plenty of restaurants in Mt. Pleasant. The rooms were great (very spacious with sitting area, kitchen, and decent bathroom), the service was good, and the price wasn't bad for the quality of the stay. I would recommend this to anyone who's spending a couple of days in the Charleston area.

    We had planned to spend five nights there, but upon entering the room we canceled our stay. the carpet had lots of stains, the wallpaper was coming off the wall, ...

    We had planned to spend five nights there, but upon entering the room we canceled our stay. The carpet had lots of stains, the wallpaper was coming off the wall, and the bed ding did not look clean. It did not look like the pictures on the website. We asked for another room, but there was only one room left which had a heater not working.
