OK for the price. Access to the beach is a steep downward hill. Quite a climb back up, not sure little kids or older folks could handle it. It's away from the Spit and you need to drive to sight see or shop. It did have a microwave and fridge. (most do in Alaska) Front desk was very nice and helpful, (you need to ask for a hairdryer) they have lots of info. Room was clean and roomy with private deck looking over the water, not a beach.

Great Place to Stay!

This isn't the nicest place I've stayed at but it is decent. The main thing is that it is so close to the ocean. It's a short path down to the beach which has great tidepooling. At night you can sleep to the sounds of the sea!

When we pulled up to the office for the first time we were impressed with its small town charm. The staff was smiling and very polite. We had no problems and the room was one of the cleanest I have seen in years. The setting is private and calm and minutes from Homer's charming downtown. We will defiantley be back : )
