  The stay was o.k. Rooms were clean, but the bathroom door wasn't completely painted causing the door hard to close and once you got it closed, would get stuck. The pool wasn't heated and the water was freezing cold. When I brought this issue to the attention of the desk employee, they said they didn't deal with the pool. For the rate I paid, I was very disappointed!

  We were blessed to be able to come to Iowa to spend the holiday with our family. The staff was very gracious to us at all times. Tasty breakfast each day started us off right. Coffee availabe was an added plus, along with the cookies. Nice decorations as well. This was our second time at this hotel and we would surely return there again when we return to Ames.

  Very friendly staff with fairly clean rooms. I've stayed here in the past and the service is consistant. I would stay here again when visiting the area. The complimentary cookies and bottled water are a nice touch.
