This hotel was a great place to stay. The room was quiet, comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even the lady who checked me out at 2:30 AM. There was food about a block away (Mediteranean, Sushi, Chinese, Diner, Subs) and pizza delivery. It was a bit of a long walk to the part of the MSU campus I needed to get to, but it would probably be more convenient to places on the Eastern part of the campus. A wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

When visiting family in mid-Michigan, the two-bedroom suites offer tremendous flexibility in dealing with the bedtimes of children of different ages. The refrigerator and stove are certainly sufficient to make basic meals (supermarkets like Meijer are a short drive on Grand River), and the hidden location aside the MSU campus is convenient yet out of the way. The one downside is that this hotel conducts noise like none I've ever visited before -- conversations in adjoining or overhead rooms are perfectly audible, and a screaming baby could probably wake half the hotel. It's a pity, since the surrounding area is so quiet and the hotel so convenient in so many ways. But its internal noisiness is a real defect. Still, we've stayed there three summers in a row and will probably continue to do so.

The room was inexpensive and it was huge. You get a full kitchen with pots & pans and other kitchen utensils. To get a cab, you just call the front desk and they arrange it for you, then they call when the cab arrives. The service was astounding and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great hotel!
