  This is one of those motels in which each room has a door to the outside, which tends to seem less safe. But in Emmetsburg, IA, you're pretty safe. Staff/owner was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Pool was outdoors and seemed as clean as it could be for an outdoor pool. Breakfast was minimal, but it was nice that they had something. Room was fairly roomy and quite clean. Beds were bouncy--great for the kids' amusement, but not so much for sleeping.
