My wife and I went in late April 2009 and stayed for four nights. The room was clean, the pool was "just right," the view was priceless. We stayed in a courtyard room near the front office and we could see and hear the ocean. X, I think that this was his name, the owner and his wife were so personable it was refreshing. The location was perfect because it was just far enough away from the crazy hussle and bussle of Daytona to be peaceful, but close enough to enjoy the downtown district. It's right across the street from a gift shop, I Hop, 7-11, Subway, Red Lobster etc. So you have a ton of convenience right there. It's walking distance from a great "pier" restaurant called Crabby Joes. On the other side of S. Atlantic was the cheapest Sea Do rental place in all of Daytona Beach Shores. ;And it was walking distance&. This is truly the "perfect balance." If your looking for plush linen and snooty front desk service this place is not for you. If you are looking for clean, intimate, personable, ideal location, tremendous view, ice cold air condition, great water pressure, and comfortable beds then this place is perfect! We've traveled a lot and this was my ideal spot. From high rise 5 star to 0 star motor lodges this was the only perfect combination!

This will be our forth or fifth time staying at the Dream Inn. It's a family owned business and the staff are all pleasant & accommodating. The room we take each year is comfortable and always clean when we arrive. We have recommended this facility to several of our friends. The pool is always clean, and with the proximity to the beach, who could ask for more. We go every October during a motorcycle event in Daytona and look forward to getting away from all the hubub and noise at the end of the day. Hilton? no, but when you're looking to relax in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere at reasonable rates, this is the place.

DON"T DO IT!!!!!!! This place is nasty and smelly. The pics they show r not at all what you get. We paid over 100 dollars for a night , you can stay in far nicer places for that kind of money. Thank god it was not our honeymoon!

IWte really enjoyed ourselves at the dream inn hotel. At first we were leery about staying in a hotel that we had little information on. Overall we enjoyed our 1st annivesary @ the dream inn Hotel. We will be returning in August. The staff were friendly and flexible.

Older family run hotel that is kind of nostalgic and reminds you of how all hotels use to be.Our room was clean with no strange smells,good bed and everything worked well.You have direct access to the beach,parking on site and you are close to everything.If you have to have everything look perfect this is not for you.But would I stay again?Most definitley.
