The bathroom ceiling had a dinner plate size patch of BLACK mold on it. The floor had not been vacuumed in quite some time. The phone jack was exposed and wires hanging out everywhere. House keeping did not clean my room and I called twice about it. Finally a big man from maintenance showed up to atleast remove my room service tray at 9 pm that evening. My evening meal from the on site restaurant was very poor quality and not served according to the menu. Fries became mashed potatoes with 4 shrively green beans. The one perk was that the Valet staff was OUTSTANDING, the one bright spot in a 3 day business trip.

We stayed here for a football game, as all East Lansing hotels were booked. We were pleased that it wasn't that far from campus, and the hotel was very nice. No frills, but a good clean hotel that could be visited for fun or business.

The rooms were modern, comfortable, and very clean. The combination of the sleep number bed and the plush bedding made for a great night sleep! I later learned, however, that not all rooms have these amenities. Check before you book you room. As a whole, the hotel staff was helpful and professional, and the banquet manager was especially great to work with!
