  This hotel is pleasant enough and the rooms are very clean, but it is in need of a complete overhaul. The rooms are very dated and worn. It has the sternwheeler theme throughout which is good, but just needs re-doing. I guess the reason they don't do it is there seems to be a major hotel shortage in Whitehorse. If you plan on going there during the summer, make sure you make reservations in advance.

  I spent one night at this hotel. The room was ok. There was no air conditioning, which made for a hot and sticky night. Rooms weren't very sound proof - I was woken up at 3:00am when someone was checking into their room down the hall. You could hear the people in the next room talking. Next time I'm in Whitehorse, I'm planning on staying somewhere else.
