  I saw many families at the hotel. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, and from the hotel, you cross the road and you are on the beach. They have many tours daily from the hotel to many beaches and to the city. Taxis are very inexpensive. I took taxis 3 or 4 times a day all over the city at a price of between $3-$8 US dollars. To the airport from the hotel , a 45 min ride, was $18. There is no need to rent a car. You can rent a car at the hotel if you like. However, I feel you are wasting money. The hotel has a restaurant and my only bad comment is that the dinner prices are high so I never ate at the hotel at night. You can have food delivered to the hotel, even McDonalds delivers. Great staff at the hotel and I believe the best priced hotel in Maceio.
