12/14/2009I had originally booked 2 double beds as my son might be staying (but he couldn't), then changed to a king early morning of trip and spoke ...
I had originally booked 2 double beds as my son might be staying (but he couldn't), then changed to a king early morning of trip and spoke to woman at the front desk who assured me there would (of course) not be an extra charge as it is the same price listed...However, when I arrived the desk clerk (at 1AM) told me that I could not change it to a king without an upgrade charge....I explained that I had spoken to her coworker (or maybe HER?) earlier in day and was told that there was NO additional charge as even the online site is the same price....She said no and of course I told her that I would just take the double beds....THEN she said that she would go ahead and waive the additional fee and let me have a king bed..How ridiculous was that!!! Almost fraudulant....Additionally, the shuttle driver from the airport was prompt but never got out of his seat to help me with my 2 suitcases up the stairs! ..I was travelling alone and there was no one else on bus....I carried them up myself until we got to the hotel when he offered to help me with one...probably to get a tip in case he was being watched??? Not good customer service by any means...The hotel itself and room were just fine thought...

Needed a place close to the airport where I could arrive late and leave my car safely. This met my needs. The room was clean, service very good. The shuttle to and from the airport was very prompt. Next time I fly out of Baltimore, I will stay here.

The La Quinta Inn waa a wonderful place to stay while visiting relatives in the Baltimore area. Very clean, comfortable and quiet are three necessities for my husband and myself. The La Quinta Inn filled all three nicely. Would definitely stay there again.

08/30/2009Internet was not working all 4 days of trip. key didn't work first afternoon. maid must have thought we checked out. so we had no maid service that day. ...
Internet was not working all 4 days of trip. Key didn't work first afternoon. Maid must have thought we checked out. So we had no maid service that day. Had to go to desk, and problem solved. Room was always cleaned after that. No other problems.

The management was really great; offered advice for a wonderful eating place close by (/g and m). We had some problem with water and the AC but all problems were settled. Offered good advice on catching nearby light rail for downtown Baltimore. Very courteous
