The hotel was as expected from a Crowne Plaza and there were no unpleasant surprises. The staff wasn't the friendliest I have ever experienced but they weren't terrible either. When going to the hotel from the interstate, you need to be very careful because it is very easy to miss the street the hotel is on and if you pass it you have no choice but to get back on the interstate and play the cloverleaf game to get another shot at it. A sign out by the street entrance would be a great addition. Breakfast was pretty pricey for an ok buffet. When the reservation was made the girl at the desk (I called St. Louis-not the 800 number) said she thought it was $*. Trust me, it's not! They did provide a prompt, free shuttle to the airport to catch the train downtown for the Cardinal game we were going to see. It's a good way to save by not staying downtown on ballgame weekends.

The hotel was beautiful with lots of things to do! The pool, hot tub, TGIF restuarant, bar/lounge and fitness room were all clean and wonderful to use. Also, this hotel is in a great location-easy access to the airport, downtown and shopping. We will definintely stay at the Crowne Plaza again!
