Barefoot Homes was built in the 1950s as a private home with British colonial overtones; it was later converted to the first hotel in the Out Islands. Hotel amenities include the private beach (with hammocks strung between palm trees), freshwater swimming pool, tennis court, and watersport equipment and rentals available at Brendal*s Dive Shop located one mile away from the resort. Breakfast and dinner are served in the main Club House specializing in gourmet dining with a reservation, there is a bar/lounge in the hotel*s main building with views across Green Turtle Cay, and the Jolly Roger Bistro which offers both indoor, air conditioned dining and water front deck dining serves breakfast, lunch , and dinner. On Tuesday nights, during season, dinner is served as part of an elaborate beachfront barbecue that*s accompanied by music from a live local band. The hotel also offers babysitting.
