  Have stayed here more that a dozen times with family and without. It is the best value for any type of stay. The New Year's and other packages are very good. There are two large pools which are great if you have kids. The hotel beach area is first class. The breakfast included is wonderful. The rooms are very good, although they were better before the recent renovations. (They are smaller now and there are French doors to the bathrooms which is very odd.) The location is perfect-at the end of Copacabana and a short walk to Ipanema. Staff is friendlier and more helpful than any hotel in Rio. The concierge is the best for any conceivable help you may require.
