The room we had was not good. The ceiling above one bed looked like it was going to fall on you at any min. the tiles on the bathroom floor were coming up and looked nasty. We had to put a towel on the floor to cover them. The TV did not work good. The picture tube was going out and everything was blue and made the picture dark so you could not see it.The pool was ok but it needed to be cleaned good. the tiles in the pool were filthy and need scrubbed good. In our friends room they could not even use the shower because it did not have a handle. We have stayed there before and wasn't too bad. They need to do major renovation to the place. We will not stay there again until they do.

Toilet was stopped up two fo the three days. Older facility in need of rentivation. The staff was extremely friednly and polite. Rooms need re-doing. A bit pricey for the quality of the rooms. Morning breakfast was good and service was in a clean good working order........ My wife and I would never stay there again even if we had to drive to Dayton or a larger city....... Non-smoking rooms still had the smell of heavy smoking areas at one time, if it has ever stopped. We always carry spray or our own because of the smell. I would wouldn't rate it very high on the charts.

We were debating whether to stay in Richmond on Friday or drive to Indianapolis, do what we had to do there on Saturday, and come back on Sunday. So we opted to stay in Richmond. From the reviews this seemed like this would be a nice place to stay, not too pricey, and the hot breakfast sounded great. Well, the place is dated (not the end of the world) the breakfast was kind of soggy, and it just wasn't our best travel experience.

I travel with my family to see my husband (because of his job) in many states across the U.S. and can say this is one of the nicest and greatest places to stay. Very friendly staff and mini store with food and personal hygiene products available. The hot breakfast buffet is everyday of the week and is everything you could imagine and yes, it is free to hotel guests. Also, you may bring your pets--they are a pet friendly hotel!
