Just wanted to give a shout out to the Country Inn & Suites for a great stay. I came into town for business and was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast and amienties. Staff was friendly and responsive to needs (I forgot my toothbrush and several personal care items).

My husband, daughter and I decided to get out of town for the weekend and do some shopping. I have a friend nearby Mankato so we stayed there. I picked the Country Inn because I had stayed at one before in another city and they had some of the ameneties we really like such a a fridge in the room and a pool/jacuzzi. It was more than I really wanted to pay for each night but I figured it was worth it for the peace of mind. That is until the first night we tried to sleep... we could hear kids running up and down the hall and even blaring thier TV well into the morning hours. By the second day I was beat and tried to go to bed early at 10pm and I was up until 2am because some of our neighbors were celebrating a birthday party. When I checked in I was advised to be quiet ater 10pm as that was thier "rule" but apparently I was the only one to follow the rule. I thought to myself at 2am why the hotel would have a rule they could not enforce. I never saw one person from the staff monitoring the ongoings each night. Needless to say... I will not be going back there and I may be tained from the whole chain of Country Inn and Suites.

Our room was not clean, and the staff was rude at check in and more so when we asked to be moved, breakfast looked like an army had marched through and the staff said they were out of milk, muffins and cups for coffee. I wish I would have slept in my car.

My friends and I booked the hotel to stay in after attending a wedding. The rooms were lovely and clean, as was the entire hotel. The complimentary breakfast provided a wide variety of options that were quickly replenished by the friendly staff. The stay was a very pleasant experence, though I did wish they had some cheaper room options."
