My daughers softball team stayed here during their tournament. We were not in the room much due to the games; but the time that we were there was very nice. Loved the floor plan of the room. (living room was seperate form the bedroom, a television in each room) We had no complaints about our room. I didn't get a chance to tour the rest of the hotel. When we were at the pool the train did seem to go by alot but when we were in our room we could not here it. I would definatley stay here again. The staff was VERY nice also.

We are both handicapped and were put on the 3rd floor in the 3rd building fartherest from the only elevator. This hotel is divided into buildings which only a few are currently being used. The only elevator is in the first building where you have to use it and travel through breezeways covered in spider webs with huge spiders to get to your room. Has only 1 ice machine in the whole hotel unless your in the main building its a very long walk. Stairs leading up to the 3rd floor were very dirty with roaches, trash, spiders. Handicapped and elderly look elsewhere as this was beyond horrible. Drain was clogged in the shower, lightbulbs in bathroom were out, spiders in room, windows covered in cobwebs and dirty. Traintracks next door will rock your room all night and very noisey as its a place where they do alot of switching. Nightmare only got worse as our maid knocked on our door with the "do not disturb sign in it" to get us out of bed early. Breakfast was cold and skimpy.

Very nice property, clean and new. Friendly, competent staff. However, even with a courtyard room, the noise from the train is an issue. Also, the breakfast buffet could have benefitted from more attention. Try the ""City Grill"" (IIRC) for an excellent home-made breakfast (They got grits!).
