My family and I stayed at Junipine..we found it as we were driving through Sedona. We loved walking down by the creek.The view is beautiful and the price isnt bad either.

Planned 3 nights in the Sedona area on a recent family vacation to AZ. Junipine is north of town about 10 mins - but the ride is spectacular. The units are condos and have plenty of room for a family to spread out. On our first night, we discovered mice - the management moved us to another unit for the remainder of the stay. The location is very nice, on the banks of Oak Creek and at the base of the mountains. We spent hours just relaxing on the deck listening to the birds and enjoying the warm weather. Try the Arizona ATV Adventures during your stay - GREAT! I would also highly recommend the restaurant, Elote in Sedona.

Our condo had two fireplaces in it. We tested the flues to see if they were open and started small fires. The fireplaces belching out thick smoke, and we spent the greater part of our evening trying to air out the place. When we contacted the the desk, they said they had problems with the bedroom fireplace. In spite of this, there was no note warning visitors to avoid using the fireplace. We had to move burning wood from the bedroom to the living room to get it to a fireplace with an adequate draw so that we could breathe. There was no offer to move us to a safe room. Finally, we settled in to watch a family movie, but neither the DVD player in the bedroom or the living room worked. When we talked to staff about these problems they were cold and unapologetic. They made no attempt to compensate us for our ruined family reunion, they did not adjust the hefty $350.00 price of the room for a single evening and even charged us for a bottle of water during our conversation! On top of this, service was very slow in the restaurant.
