We stayed two nights at this hotel. The first night we booked on-line and had a GREAT rate. Once there we decided we would stay a second night rather than hit the road and have to find another hotel on the way back home. We got the bill AFTER we got home and realized we were charged $ extra dollars for the second night. Maybe we should have asked, but you would think that the clerk might have at least mentioned that the rate would be higher. We didn't have to stay in the area and could have gone on to find a cheaper room down the road abit. When I called to relay my frustration at the situaltion with the management they basically told me there was nothing they could do about it and that it was my responsibility to know what I was paying. I guess I learned a lesson the hard way! Also the FREE breakfast was a joke. I guess you get what you pay for.

We stayed here once previously and it wasn't too bad then. This visit was a disaster! When we walked in the first room we were given, the bathroom ceiling was literally laying in the sink and on the floor. We were then given another room that was filthy. The furniture had stains galore. The loveseat was so bad they had used an old sheet to substitute as a cover! The only heating unit was in the bedroom, but they must have spent a ton of money to stick a pipe through the wall so that the heat from the bedroom could supposedly travel into the living area. The breakfast was for the most part non-existent - a couple of rolls and a few small muffins. I would absolutely stay away from this place, but from the looks of things, they won't be in business much longer, so you won't have to worry.

The service at this hotel was warm and friendly. I got lost on my way to the hotel, I stopped at another hotel but could not understand the clerk at the hotel. The woman from the econo lodge called the same clerk and got directions for me. I was extremely pleased. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked into the front door.

The cream-colored goo smeared and dried on the closet door as well as the brown smear dried on the wall by the toilet paper made us believe the whole room was filthy. The wall was stained by the a/c unit and it was so noisy it kept us up all night.
