Stayed there while documenting a former WWII ship at the navy base. The staff was the best and tried really hard. It was extremely hot while we were there and our A/C in the room died. While we were out, the staff moved all our stuff to a new room where the A/C worked. Then they forgot to tell us. All floors have wireless high-speed internet, but it didn't work on all floors. Had to go to other floors or lobby to upload fotos from my laptop. Like most hotels in Mexico, a room key is required in a slot in the wall to turn on the A/C, so when you leave it turns off. Bring an extra misc card to keep that A/C on (credit card sized-library card will do.)
Food in the little restaurant was excellent and cheap. Bar also is nice, and stayed open until we decided to leave.
Business center is comparable to many hotels. Several computers hooked to the internet with printing capability. Several medium conference rooms that served us nicely. Clean, LARGE outdoor swimming pool. Full-time security guard, although we didn't need it (Mexican Marines provided by the Navy did just fine.) Not sure on pricing as I didn't pay the bill, but I understand it was only a little bit more than the "other" hotel in town that the Navy men warned us not to stay in. When restaurant was closed, front desk hired a cab to pick up burgers and tacitos for us. He said they do it all the time for people. I thought it was a nice touch, and only cost us $* for the cab driver. I highly recommend this particular hotel in the chain.
