the front desk svc. at check in from jazzmin was excellent everything after that was not so friendly. I always chose a hotel that has continental breakfast and a heated pool. The cold pool was sappose to be 82 degrees!!!NOT it was so cold tha I had to tell my two boys that they could not get in due to they would have the phemonia...they were not happy and neither was I. So, I asked Mgr. K if we could go next door and use there facility and if so would we have to call or anything prior. He was not friendly or happy. There pool was not heated either I am not sure if everyone was trying to conserve cutt back or what. Then the next morning a breakfast we experienced the food person telling my companion that she was not going to put out any more bacon until what was out was gone and that she could not allow him to eat all the bacon from her other guests. Then she stood and watched us with her white cleaning rag. She then proceded to fix a waffle for one white customer and when asked if she prepared the waffled for the guests she indicated indeed not...go figure. Then to put the iceing on the cake she went outside to have a cigareete and check this out with the same plastic food glove on that she used to serve that waffle...Thank you Lord. Then she returned to her job and continued to work with the same glove on. So, naturally we exstended our stay else where.......The manger never apologised or suggested another way to accomodate us....I did feel out my how was your stay card in the room with some positive and hopefully helpfull tips customer svc. skills.

We stopped in Waldorf for the night and ended up here- it was a super value, the hotel was reasonably priced and it was super clean, comfortable and the service was teriffic. We forgot my son's thermos bag and lunchbox in the room fridge and they saved it for us. The breakfast was nice and we liked it so much we stayed there on the way home a gew days later. Definitely the best hotel value in Waldorf & we've stayed in a few hotels there.
