I had a chance to stay at the Lasalle Hotel in December. It was such great place to stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helped us with everything that we needed. I will definitely be staying there the next time I am in Bryan.

The LaSalle Hotel is an absolute must stay when visiting the Bryan-College Station area. We just love coming back and always stay at the LaSalle. The rooms are always clean and refreshing. We just love all the restaurants surrounding the hotel and the atmosphere it has to offer. The staff is extremely helpful with directions and suggestions for new and exciting things to try each trip. My husband and I were even married in the courtyard in front of the hotel in 2003. Needless to say, we would very much recommend the LaSalle Hotel to any friend or family going to visit the Texas A&M area!

This was not a good experience for my wife and I. The hotel was clean and had been updated as well as you can an old hotel. The bed was comfortable. The water in the bath lavatory had no water pressure and there was no cold water. The cold water side was hot. Even the water in the stool was hot. There was no drinking water. The shower was so small you could hardly turn around and the shower head pointes toward the opening which only had a shower curtain.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the LaSalle last week (October 23-24, 2008). We were supposed to stay a third night for a long weekend, but we opted to return home early because we couldn't stand the hotel any longer. As frequent weekend travelers, it was the worst experience we have had. The staff at the front desk were poorly trained and more interested in reading and sending their text messages than in helping customers. The furniture looked like it came from a garage sale; the non-smoking room had a musty odor; the electronic equipment including the phone only worked sporadically; the decor wasn't antique, just old and tired. I wish I could say something positive about our stay there, but unfortunately, the most positive experience we had in 2 days was leaving. Altogether, they should have paid US to stay there. Needless to say, we won't be back.

The hotel is in a historic part of downtown Bryan. The staff at the front desk were exremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is old, but very charming and modern inside. I needed to make some reservations for my son's graduation from Texas A&M and the front desk staff was very helpfull in making sure that I got what I needed. I look forward to staying at this hotel in May.
