Was Adequate but Not Great

The hotel backs the freeway and I wasn't aware of that when checking in. Of course the room I ended up being one of those so I got a lot of freeway noise. If you run the air conditioning continuously it helps drown some of that noise except when it hits the thermostat and stops. The room was generally clean and adequate. The bed was comfortable and the pullout sofa was OK except the mattress wasn't an exact fit to the frame so if you sat on a corner, you could potentially sink between the springs. It had a mini-fridge, sink, TV and wireless Internet access. The instructions were not in the room and when I called the front desk, they said it should be there. I did another search and called the front desk again and was informed that I would need to pick them up from the front desk which I ended up doing. The tub plug didn't seal properly so I couldn't take a bath. The pool was indoors and heated which was good for the kiddo. The jacuzzi was like bathwater--hardly hot. The included breakfast was fairly decent although having the same stuff for four mornings got old fast. Besides the usual cold cereal, bagels, doughnuts, bread, muffins, juice, coffee, milk, they had a waffle-maker, hot (or warm depending on if you got there early) sausage and scrambled eggs. Instant packaged oatmeal was available with the hot water from the coffee dispenser. Seating was limited especially if you got there at the end of the breakfast time. Checkout was convenient and they slipped a list of charges under your door the night before. If I had to stay there again, I could in a pinch. Value-wise was good except for the freeway noise.

After traveling for 12 hours we stayed at Comfort Suites becuase of the reputation of the chain, but found the room dirty and the hotel very run down. The breakfast area was extremely dirty and we decided not to eat there. There are a number of other hotels at this exit, try any other.
