The hotel was clean & neat. However, I was disappointed with the room! I booked my stay @ the hotel because we were traveling with three adults & I expected a suite. Not a large room with a loveseat sleeper sofa! I ended paying for two rooms in order to satisfy the need for privacy. In this I was totally disappionted. The staff? Polite yet curt! Initally did not seem to care that I wasn't satisfied with the accomadations. I asked did any hotels in the area have suites and I was told no. After asking she did call Hampton Inn and found out that they indeed had a suite available. Not at all what I expected! Also my room was very close to the elevator and you could look over into the lobby. You could hear things pretty clearly downstairs. There were some other guests who were extremely rude in allowing thier children to run up & down the halls, slamming doors, getting on & off the elevator with wet feet from the pool. This went on late into the night & first thing the next morning. The elevator is in clear view of the front desk. I find it hard to believe that no one at the front desk saw what was going on. Yet nothing was said to ensure other guests were not disturbed. I did not call the front desk personally becauseI felt I couldn't be objective at that time and I did not want to confront anyone's children. I was exhausted & just wanted to rest. Each time that I was about to call things would go silent then start up again as soon as I dozed off. If no one at the front desk was aware - why not????

02/25/2008Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, great location, 2 top resturants right beside hotel. i think this is our only hotel for now on when we come to visit!
