  After reading all the reviews on this hotel AFTER I had booked it - I was freaked out about staying here. But my experience was fine. The hotel IS located behind Costco next to the freeway but our room was super quiet, we heard no outside noises. We also felt completely safe in the area. Upon walking in your hit with the strong smell of cleaning supplies. The staff was very friendly, she even let me go under the cabinets to get some napkins and paper plates when we had pizza delivered. The elevator was kinda slow but fine. Our room key worked fine everytime and our room was clean and did not smell at all. The couch looked a little old, but was clean and we had some issues with the wi-fi because the signal strength would be strong and then slow - possibly due to the fact that there is a microtel inn right next door and they had a lot of people on wi-fi, they could have been crossing eachother. The towels were clean, the water worked fine, the a/c worked fine and the bed was clean and comfy. We visited the hot tub and pool area. It was clean but the restroom at the pool was not that great. We just used it to change our of our wet clothes. We left our stuff in our room with no issues. There were cameras that were working because you can see the computer screen at check in. Overall our experience was fine. Our nots are more nit-picky but that's what a review is for. I would stay here again after I try a few other places I saw I would like to try.

  We had mixups on our room and had to change twice during our 4 day stay. they double-booked our room on the last night due to liberty bowl game. ...

  We had mixups on our room and had to change twice during our 4 day stay. They double-booked our room on the last night due to Liberty Bowl game. On check-out there was a mystery charge for $204 that they couldn't explain but said they would fix. I'll see if that happens. Still a nice choice in Memphis.

  Have stayed at this hotel before with no problem, but this time was different. After a couple hours in the room, the roaches started coming out. I called the front desk and the clerk did not seemed surprised,because she said they have been having trouble with bugs. We checked out at 10:00pm and were not charged after some arguing.

  Hotel was great, clean, great breakfast, nice pool, big room. However the front desk staff was very rude. Then at checkout recharged our card for hotel stay. Still waiting for that to be resolved a week later. They were the only bad thing about the place
